I was looking for a wide angle lens that I could take places I would be reluctant to take my more expensive lenses and at the price it was a bit of an impulse buy. I was impressed from the start the packaging surpass ed that of much pricier lenses and it has the feel of a much more expensive lens and works well with my Canon D1000.I used it for days and I am very pleasantly surprised by the quality of images. I have found it to be highly responsive and no more noise then my canon lenses. All and all a pleasant surprise to me, "cheap" lens, this method recommended.

Opteka 10x HD? Professional Macro Lens for Canon PowerShot G7 & G9

I am a beginner photographer so some instructions on how to get the most out of this product would have been helpful. Also the product came with 2 lens covers - one fit very well, the 2nd cover was too big and did not fit securely.I dropped it, you need to find a successor. That said the pictures have been good and I will continue using for closeups of flowers, insects etc.

This is by far the best DSLR I got. I get the best pic quality and loads of them out of it. I do not think it is heavy which makes me wana return it a few times, but the picture quality makes it so worth it. I only with they had PentaPrisms ...and also if it could still be lighter in weight. Considering the number of functions in the packaged I know it should be atleast this serious .. But it would be nice if sony one way it could work as meaningful, yet easy to use..
